What The Padel was built by a player who got burned buying on hype. Buying a racket usually means twenty open tabs, a friend's hand-me-down opinion, and a leap of faith on a number some site printed under a photo. The trouble is that number. Reviewers scored the control on one popular frame, the Bullpadel Vertex 04, at 9.0 on one site and 7.0 on another: same racket, same scale, two full points apart. A score is an opinion wearing decimals, and it can't know your elbow or your budget.

So we built the opposite. One place, four ways in: a quiz that knows you, guides that rank the field, honest reviews that name who should skip a racket, and a library you can wander. All of it stands on one foundation, every racket we could get our hands on, with the real specs on record.

The quiz: a padel expert who knows the whole catalog

Think of the friend you wish you had: plays padel, has read the spec sheet of 800+ rackets, listens when you say your elbow acts up, and has no reason to sell you anything. That's what we built. It's an AI, and we're not shy about it, because we built it to act like that friend and put the entire catalog behind it.

You answer 12 questions, about 2 minutes: your level, your side of the court, your budget, how you like to win, whether anything hurts. It thinks about you specifically. A Strategist with a sore elbow and a €120 ceiling gets a different answer than a Smasher with deep pockets and a healthy arm, because they should.

Then it checks live stock at the shops themselves and hands you four picks with the why written out for each. Not "users also bought". Yours.

When the question is "what's the best racket for someone like me", a guide is the shortest path. Every pick is ranked, in stock when we checked, and comes with its catch, not just the sales pitch. And every price is dated.

The honest reviews: one racket, the whole truth

When you're circling one specific racket, the honest review takes it apart: what it does best, the catch nobody mentions, and who should skip it. That last section is the point. A review that never tells anyone to walk away is an ad.

No scores, ever. A 9.2 out of 10 can't know your game, so we don't print one. Instead every review carries the real spec table, live prices, and a verdict you can disagree with.
