The verdict

The Bullpadel Hack 04 is the racket Bullpadel sells under Paquito Navarro's name, and it makes no attempt to be anything but an attacking tool. Diamond shape, high balance, the weight stacked toward the head: every design choice funnels toward the moment you get a ball above your shoulder. This is a power frame for the advanced player who finishes points, and it says so out loud.

The surprise is the core. Bullpadel builds the Hack 04 on MultiEVA, a dual-density foam at medium firmness rather than the brick you might expect inside a diamond. On a dink or a slow block the softer layer gives you touch, so the short game does not turn to concrete; commit to a full swing and the core firms up and fires the ball out. Add the CustomWeight ports in the frame, which let you tune the setup to your own arm, and you get an attacking frame with more range than its silhouette suggests.

None of that makes it friendly. The sweet spot is small, the head is heavy, and a defensive mishit comes back with nothing on it. A medium MultiEVA core

The heart of the racket is MultiEVA, Bullpadel's dual-density foam, listed at medium density in our catalog. Stacked densities are the mechanism: the softer outer layer cushions a slow contact, so a chiquita or a blocked return still leaves your hand with some feel, while a hard swing compresses through to the denser layer underneath and the ball exits with pace. For a diamond, medium is the tolerant choice. A harder core would buy a little more snap on the smash and cost you the entire short game.

A rough carbon face

The hitting surface is carbon with a rough finish, the texture molded into the face rather than added as an aftermarket sheet. Grit holds the ball a fraction longer on a brushed swing, and that fraction is where spin comes from: a víbora that skids low off the glass, a bandeja that drops at the feet instead of sitting up. One honesty note: these specs have not yet been cross-checked against Bullpadel's own documentation, so we call the face carbon, full stop, and skip the weave-count claims we cannot source.

A diamond with the weight up top

The mold is a diamond with a high balance: 370g nominal, in a 365-375g range, with the mass riding high. A head-heavy racket does part of the smash for you, because the weight is already traveling where the ball is, and a clean overhead comes down harder than your arm alone would send it. The same physics turns against you in defense, where the head arrives late if your hands are slow. Around the frame, Bullpadel runs its Total Channel aerodynamic groove to reduce drag through the swing and reinforces the heart with its Triple Bridge structure.

Two technologies earn a separate beat. CustomWeight puts tunable weight ports in the frame, so you can nudge the balance to suit your arm instead of living with the factory setup. Vibradrive is Bullpadel's vibration damping system, there to soak up some of the buzz a stiff carbon frame sends back on a mishit. Neither turns the Hack 04 into a soft racket. Give it a lob to punish and the Hack 04 is at its best. The head carries through contact, so a smash por tres comes off steep without you swinging out of your shoes, and a flat put-away stays down. The rough face adds the second finishing option: a víbora with enough bite that the ball skids away instead of bouncing up into a counter. If your game is built around winning points from above your shoulder, this is the part of the court the racket was designed for.

At the net

Block volleys push deep on their own, because the mass does the shoving, and that buys you time to close. Fast hands are the catch. The head has farther to travel on a reaction volley, so a ball jumping at your hip gets on top of you unless your contact is early and out in front. Play the net on your terms, stepping in and taking the ball first, and it rewards you. Play it on your opponent's terms and the weight works against you.

Defending from the back

This is the tax. The sweet spot is small, so a stretched dig from the corner that misses the center comes off dead and drops short. Lobs need a deliberate push, because the medium core will not float the ball back deep for you. Good defenders can play with it, but every reset asks for clean contact and prepared feet, and by the third set that discipline is what you are paying for the smash.

The arm and shoulder bill

A head-heavy frame at this weight loads the shoulder on every overhead and asks the elbow to stabilize every late volley. Vibradrive soaks up part of the sting at contact, and the CustomWeight ports let you run the lightest setup, but no damping system removes swing weight. If your arm or shoulder already grumbles after long sessions, the Comfort variant of this racket exists for a reason, and so do softer, rounder frames entirely.
