The Oxdog Hyper Pro+ 2.0 is Oxdog's flagship attacking frame, and it plays like one: firm, fast, and head-heavy, built to end points from the net and off the back wall. This is an advanced racket for a player whose technique is already grooved. It rewards a clean, committed swing and gives very little back to a passive one.

What sets it apart in a crowded power market is the teardrop mould. Most frames this aggressive are diamonds that punish every off-centre hit. The Hyper Pro+ keeps the head-heavy punch but sits the sweet spot lower and wider than a diamond, so you get diamond-grade power with a margin for error a pure diamond won't hand you.

Feedback comes through sharp and unmuffled, which an advanced player wants to feel and a softer hitter finds demanding.

Shape and balance

The mould is a head-heavy teardrop, a high balance, so mass sits up behind the ball for the smash while the teardrop stays quicker through the air than a true diamond. Two details round it out. Side Ports cut air resistance so the head accelerates faster through an overhead, and the RBS system tucks a small removable steel weight into the handle, so if the head-heavy feel is too much you can take some out. PowerRibs channel more of the swing into ball speed and add durability under hard hitting.

Defending asks the most of you. The stiff core gives no free rebound, so a passive block drops short. Commit to the stroke instead and it rewards you with excellent directional control, threading a reset to a corner or deep onto the glass. Lobs need a genuine push to float back long. If your defence leans more on absorbing pace than redirecting it, this frame will feel like hard work.

On the attack

This is what you buy it for. The smash is heavy and flat: meet it early and it comes back off the glass with ease, flatten it deep and it is brutal, the Side Ports and head weight driving fast racket-head speed. The víbora and bandeja skid in low and die at the opponent's feet as you work forward. Every attack comes off flat and quick, and it lands where you pointed it.

Be honest with yourself here. This is a firm, rigid frame, and it passes more of the hit up into the wrist and elbow than a soft-cored racket does.
