Verdict

The verdict

The Bullpadel Neuron 02 2026 is Fede Chingotto's signature racket, and it commits to one job: control at a professional standard. The ball leaves this frame at the pace you gave it and lands where you aimed it, which is the whole pitch. There is no free power here, and Bullpadel isn't pretending otherwise.

What sets it apart is how calm it stays for something this precise. Full carbon usually means a hard, jarring contact. The Neuron 02 stacks two damping systems and a honeycomb grip on top of its carbon build, so you get the direct feel that makes placement easy, you know where on the face you struck the ball, without the shock a stiff frame sends into the elbow. Add a sweet spot our catalog rates as large and you get a pro frame that doesn't turn every off-center hit into a punishment.

Two honest notes before you get attached. First, this is a heavy racket at 365-375g, built for a developed technique; it gives an improver nothing to lean on. Second, several shops carry the Neuron 02 Cloud, a softer beginner racket that shares the name and almost nothing else. Don't buy the wrong one; the buying section below sorts them out.

The build · materials

The build

A MultiEVA core that adapts to the shot

The center of the racket is Bullpadel's MultiEVA core, several densities of EVA foam layered into one block. The softer zones compress on a slow ball, soaking up pace when you block or reset. The firmer zones engage when you swing hard and hand the energy back. Our catalog files it as medium density: firm enough that the ball leaves quickly off a committed swing, soft enough that catching a hard drive doesn't jar your hand.

An Xtend Carbon 3K face with 3D Grain bite

The hitting surface is Xtend Carbon 3K, a tight 3K weave finished with Bullpadel's 3D Grain rough texture. The carbon keeps the face firm, so little of your swing leaks away at contact and the ball goes where the face points. The raised grain adds friction: brush up the back of the ball and it takes the spin, which is what gives this control frame an attacking edge it would not otherwise have.

A PrismLock frame with a low balance

The frame is 100% carbon shaped with PrismLock, a faceted prism geometry Bullpadel uses to resist twisting when the ball lands off-center. Less twist means a mishit stays closer to your intended line instead of spraying wide. The balance sits low for a teardrop, so despite the 365-375g weight the head comes around fast enough for quick hands at the net. The CustomWeight system lets you add or remove up to 3g of plates to nudge that balance toward more stability or more speed.

Two damping systems for a quiet arm

Bullpadel doubles up on vibration control. Ease Vibe dampeners sit in the frame and absorb what Bullpadel rates as up to 49% of frame vibration, while Vibradrive, an elastic insert in the handle shaft, catches the shock that travels through the grip. A Hesacore honeycomb handle rounds it out. The payoff is the point of this build: carbon-face precision with less of the sting a stiff pro frame normally sends up the arm.

How it plays · on court

How it plays

Placement first, everywhere

Point the face and the ball obeys. Slow shots are where this frame is happiest: a chiquita dipping at an incoming player's feet, a reset dying in the corner, a lob that drops a foot inside the glass because that's where you sent it. You never fight the racket's own agenda, because it doesn't have one. The flip side is that nothing arrives for free. A soft push comes back a soft push, so depth on defense is your legs and your swing, not the frame.

At the net

For a racket at the top of its weight class it moves quickly in an exchange, and the low balance is why: the head isn't dragging behind your hands. Volleys land placed rather than blasted, meaning you can aim at a shoe or a hip instead of hoping pace does the work. When a hard ball jumps at you, the frame's stability keeps the block controlled, so a jammed volley crosses low instead of popping up short to be attacked.

On the attack

Spin is the weapon. The rough face lets a bandeja die off the bounce and a víbora skid low, so you attack by taking time and angles away rather than hitting through people. The flat smash is where it holds back: with a low balance and a medium core there's no head mass to borrow, so putting a ball through the glass takes a complete, fast swing that is all yours. Players who finish por 3 with placement will barely notice. Power hunters will.

Comfort and the arm

Contact is firm but short: you feel the hit, then it's gone, with none of the buzz that hangs around in the elbow after a stiff frame. The bigger comfort question is mass. At 365-375g this racket asks something of your wrist and shoulder deep in a third set, and a slighter player will feel the arm tiring long before stiffness becomes the issue. If you're managing arm or shoulder trouble, weigh the mass here more heavily than the materials.

Who it's for

Who it's for (and who should skip it)

Buy it if

  • You're an advanced player who wins with placement, spin, and patience rather than flat pace
  • Harsh, buzzy frames set your elbow off, but you still want carbon-face precision
  • You like a substantial racket and have the technique to swing 370g for three sets

Look elsewhere if

  • Free power is what you're after. This one returns your swing and nothing more
  • You're a beginner or improver. The softer Neuron 02 Cloud is the version built for you
  • Your wrist or shoulder tires with heavier frames; 365-375g sits near the top of the range

Frequently asked

Frequently asked

No. The Neuron 02 is a pro-level control frame that returns only the pace you generate, and at 365-375g it's a lot of racket for a developing swing. Bullpadel sells the Neuron 02 Cloud for beginners and improvers, with fiberglass faces and a soft EVA core, in stock from about €170.00 at our last check. Watch the product title when you buy, because shops routinely mix the two up.

Control, without hedging. The low balance, medium MultiEVA core, and teardrop shape are all tuned for placement, and the rough 3D Grain face adds spin as the attacking edge. Power on this frame scales with your swing speed and comes from nowhere else.

It was listed from about €197.00 at our approved retailers when we checked on 17 Aug 2026, down from a list price near €305.00, with stock at PadelMarket and PadelProShop that day. The live price block on this page shows current prices and stock, so trust it over any date-stamped sentence, this one included.

They are two different rackets sharing a family name. The Neuron 02 is Fede Chingotto's pro model: Xtend Carbon 3K faces, a medium MultiEVA core, and a 365-375g build for advanced control players. The Cloud swaps in fiberglass faces and a soft EVA core for a gentler, beginner-friendly hit at a lower price. Several retailer listings label the Cloud loosely, so confirm the exact model name before paying.

Fede Chingotto plays the Bullpadel Neuron 02, his signature control teardrop. Every retailer listing and our catalog tie the Neuron 02 2026 to Fede Chingotto. If you arrived here looking for Ale Galán's racket, his signature line is the Adidas Metalbone, a different brand entirely.

A medium-density MultiEVA core, several EVA foam densities layered in one block, under Xtend Carbon 3K faces finished with the rough 3D Grain texture. The frame is 100% carbon with Bullpadel's PrismLock geometry, and CustomWeight plates let you fine-tune the balance by up to 3g.

Worth it for the advanced control player who supplies their own power: around €197.00 buys a pro-spec teardrop with a core almost nothing else on the market uses. It is the wrong spend for anyone still wanting the racket to add pace.

They solve the same control brief at different levels. The Radical Motion is lighter, cheaper, and more forgiving, the sensible buy for most control players. The Neuron 02 is the pro version of the idea: heavier, more exacting, more reward at the top. If price matters at all, start with the Radical Motion.
